Conservation Work
Whitby and the surrounding settlements and countryside, including within the North York Moors National Park, are rich in historic character with numerous listed buildings. As a result, we are experienced in working with heritage assets and within conservation areas where a sensitive approach is essential.
To streamline any proposals you may have for renovation, repairs or potential alteration, we offer built heritage consultancy and planning service where, with accredited conservation expertise, we can produce and submit applications for listed building consent and planning applications.
Our employees are experienced and trained in traditional materials such as hot lime plasters, mortars, renders, and lead work enabling us to meet conservation requirements and ensuring historic buildings are able to function correctly.
