Barn Conversion – Egton

We transformed a previously unused barn into a stylish two-bedroom residential conversion, combining modern comfort with rustic character.

The property now features a bright, open living space, complete with a newly installed chimney ready for a log burner, creating a warm and inviting focal point. Natural light floods the interior through Velux roof windows, sun tunnels, and bespoke handmade windows crafted by J Hallam Joinery.

The conversion includes a fully fitted kitchen, a separate utility room, a bathroom, and an additional shower room, providing practical and well-designed living accommodation. Throughout the property, we installed tongue-and-groove effect panelling, finished with Farrow & Ball paint, delivering a high-quality, timeless finish.

Externally, we created a beautiful patio area using Indian stone paving slabs, complemented by a sandstone wall. This outdoor space has been designed to maximise enjoyment of the stunning countryside views, offering a peaceful and functional area for relaxation.
